Congratulations to our Director of Agronomy Dr Brett Morris on receiving the GCSAA award for the International Environmental Leadership in Golf Award. Brett was honoured recently at the San Diego GCSAA Conference.

Adam Trevena has been appointed as General Manager of our Racing Division. Adam hails from a strong commercial background and will manage all operations with the AJC.

Turnpoint Landscape Division have been busy with the awarding of the Shearwater Phillip Island Development and the Cardinia Lakes Project.

Turnpoint Services Division have been awarded the License for Dryject Aeration throughout all of Australia & New Zealand. Contract Services are due to commence in June 2010. To view the machines in action visit www.dryject.com.

Congratulations to Connections of Shoot Out, Trainer John Wallace and Jockey Stathi Katsidis for winning the Group 1 Turnpoint Royal Randwick Guineas. Special mention must go to Wayne Hawley, Track Manager Trent Harding and all staff for the condition of Royal Randwick over the three week Autumn Carnival.

Yarra Bend Stage 1 works have been completed. The new Bann/Lynch Driving range has been constructed with structures due for completion in July 2010.

Warwick Farm B Grass Race Track  is under construction with Lindsay Richter heading the team. The newly renovated track will increase grass usage for all training operations with opening scheduled for late September 2010.

Superintendent Chris Burgess has received glowing reports for the recent opening of The Silverwoods Black Bull Course. Early round numbers and overall feedback suggest the Thomson Perrett designed course has been an outstanding success.

Stage 1 works for Racing NSW have been completed with a total of 30 Race Clubs audited and renovated. The team lead by Michael Hudson travelled over 7000km throughout their journey.

Greg Puckeridge has Natadola is amazing condition for the forthcoming Fiji Open on June 15th while Greg Jaeger continues to transform Denarau Golf & Racket Club back from recent cyclone setbacks. Despite trying weather conditions both Greg’s have achieved remarkable results.
