Turnpoint have been appointed by Mirvac to maintain Magenta Shores Golf & Country Club for a period of 5 years. Peter Fitzgerald who grew the course in has taken the reigns as Superintendent.

- Racing NSW has appointed Turnpoint to audit, provide soil testing and renovation services to 35 race clubs throughout NSW. Works commenced in September 2009.

- Natadola Bay, Fiji has opened with the hosting of the Fiji Open. Greg Puckridge has been appointed as Superintendent with the course condition gaining rave reviews.

- Turnpoint have been appointed to assist with the grow in of a privately owned course in Fiji. Alec Ross has been appointed to co-ordinate works.

- The Ridge, NSW front 9 holes have opened. Superintendent, Ben Grylewicz has managed all works with the second 9 holes due for construction in early 2010.

- Final details are now completed for the Turnpoint National Turf Conference. Superintendents, Course Managers, Assistants and Mechanics will gather at Magenta Shores for four days of education, golf and industry updates. Also joining us will be our owners, managers and product partners. Conference begins on November 16th 2009.

- Works have commenced at Camden Lakeside, NSW. Dan Wheeler and Lindsay Richter will oversee all re-modeling works.

- A massive congratulations to Brett Morris on the completion of his PHd. Our Director of Agronomy is now referred to as Dr Brett Morris.

New Web Site Launch. Turnpoint have launced a new web site based on ensuring staff are always updated. New projects, positions vacant, training and what’s new will be updated monthly with a security access.

* Turnpoint have been appointed by MirvacWA to maintain Kennedy Bay, Western Australia commencing September 2008. Bruce Coleman has been appointed Golf Course Superintendent.

* Allan Phillips has been appointed as Fleet Manager. Formerly retired with Toro, Allan will work to assist with all fleet management and grow in equipment.

* Study Tour 2009. Turnpoint Superintendents and Course Managers will tour the United States in January 2009. The tour will take in visits to some of the countries best courses and race track facilities concluding at the New Orleans conference. The tour will be conducted every two years with alternate conferences held at selected Turnpoint venues. Brett Morris will manage the tour.

* Natadola Fiji. Grassing of all holes is now completed with Ryan Markwell managing grow in duties. Opening remains on target for Feb 09.

* Turnpoint have been appointed by Starwood Hotels to maintain Denarau Golf & Racket Club, Fiji commencing November 1st 2008.

* Yarra Bend Melbourne. Turnpoint have commenced maintenance of the 18 hole course with major course upgrades scheduled for January 09. The new master plan will see the entire course remodelled by architects Thomson & Perrett. Nathan McGrath has been appointed Golf Course Superintendent.

* The Ridge. NSW. Construction of the James Wiltshire course remains on schedule with the first nine holes due for completion in November 2008.

* Yarrawonga. VIC. Stage 2. Construction of the Thomson Perrett designed course re-commences in November 2008. Turnpoint have also commenced residential landscape works. Chris Burgess is managing Grow In while Matt Phillips will manage the remaining 13 hole construction. Lindsay Richter will resume as Lead Shaper.

*Brett Morris has been appointed Director of Agronomy. Based in Port Douglas at Sea TempleGolf & Country Club. Brett will work closely with all Superintendents on agronomy related issues.

* Peter Woods has been appointed Golf Course Superintendent of Kooindah Waters Golf Club.

* Former Director Michael Freedman has trained numerous winners on his debut in Singapore. After a recent visit Michael, Anna and the triplets have settled well and have made a great start to their new venture. To follow Michaels progress go to the Singapore turf club web site.
